IIID Pune Regional Chapter was chartered during year 1988 by Our Founding Chairperson Late. Ar. S.N. Singh and is one of the strongest and active chapter of the organization having more than 750 proud members. Pune chapter is a very happening place with variety programs created and hosted around the year with overwhelming response and participation of our members. IIID Pune Regional chapter has been consistently conducting many events and technical sessions focused towards sharing of Good Design with Designer community and its Trade members for last several years. The Pune Chapter has hosted “National Conventions” and “ IIID Anchor Awards finale” during last few years and this has helped to create meaningful dialogue between professionals and trade members . Through Product Presentations by our Trade sponsors we are also able to update all members with latest material and techniques in the profession.
Pune Regional Chapter is The First Chapter of IIID to have set up its OWN “IIID Education Centre” on 4th June 2011 and it continues to inspire other chapter/centre’s to create such facilities which are of Great importance.
IIID’s current President Mr. Pratap Jadhav is proud Past Chairperson of IIID PRC.
Our chapter has always won accolades frequently from Head office for Leading with examples and Contributing towards building a Stronger organisation. IIID PRC was also Awarded as Best Chapter of the tenure 2014-2016 by our National President.
Our theme for tenure 2015-2017 will be “Taking Design to Masses”
